Annual Kauai Mayor-a-thon – Run, Walk, Bike, Stroll

Join Kauai’s Mayor Kawakami and Get Fit Kauai for this fun and free 1, 2, 4, 6 or 8 mile walk, bike, run or stroll. This fun annual event takes place along Ke Ala Hele Makalae (Kapaa bike path) on Saturday, June 22, with check-in starting at 6:30am. The event starts and finishes at Kapaa Beach Park.

 The first 500 registered participants / volunteers will receive a free event T-Shirt and everyone will receive a cinch bag from Kaiser Permanente. In addition, participants may enjoy breakfast from Mark’s Place (sponsored by HMSA), dancing, games, prizes, zumba and more.

Bring a healthy food item for the Kupuna Healthy Food Drive and receive a pair of sunglasses while supplies last.  This food drive will benefit the Kauai Independent Food Bank and the Hawaii Food Bank-Kauai Branch equally.

All who pre-register and check in will be eligible to win prizes including resort stays, bicycles and more. Also, free transportation is available via the Kaua‘i Bus from Westside and North Shore. This is a zero waste Event. You are invited to bring your favorite water bottle which can be re-filled at the event.
