Lydate Park Volunteer Clean-Up On December 9th

From Thomas Noyes, Freinds of Kamalani:

Did you happen to admire the beautiful Super Full Moon on Sunday?Along with that very full moon came an unusually high tide. As expected, a considerable amount of marine debris was washed up on the beach at Lydgate Park’s swimming ponds (see attached picture from Monday morning).

Here are three ways you can kokua with this easy beach cleanup:

  1. lend a hand with the Beach Cleanup Team at the swimming ponds, 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM this Saturday (December 9, 2017), meet near the Lifeguard Tower;
  2.  If you’re at the beach before Saturday, please take a bag and pick out the plastic bits from the debris line.
  3. Share this call for volunteers on your social media channels.

Please feel free to call or text  if you can bring a group or need more details—808 639-1018.
