Join in on this monthly fun and leisurely ride starting at the Lihue Civic Center on Rice Street at 4:30 p.m. on every first Saturday of the month. These are safe, slow paced fun rides throughout the surrounding neighborhoods designed for all ages and abilities. Bring any kine bike! The rides last about an hour so bring your own water. We recommend flat repair kits and helmets (state law requires helmets for kids under 16). We’ll have trained team members throughout the course for anyone that needs assistance. Register here.
Our coordinators and Squad Leaders will be wearing masks prior to riding, and ask that our participants do as well. Once we are riding and separated, masks will be optional.
We separate into small groups of 6 or less, with the Squad Leader choosing the route for the ride.
This format gives us the ability to have groups of different abilities, or levels. Some groups will maintain a robust pace and extend the rides, other groups will choose more comfortable paces.
We ask that new riders please sign a waiver, one is required each year. We would also appreciate it if you’d write down your email address on a sign in sheet for future communications. We do not need you to sign in if you’ve already given us your email and signed a current waiver.
