Event Description

E Kanikapila Kakou, 2024, an annual weekly celebration of Hawaiian music invites you to a season of exploring and understanding the relationship between the songs and dances of Hawaii and the life and times of its people as reflected in the Significant Songs of Hawaii.

“Songs of the Renaissance” as presented by Jerry Santos and Kamuela Kimokeo, represent some of the most powerful and impactful songs of patriotism that reflect the struggles, hopes, actions and life-changing events of the people of Hawaii as they worked to right the wrongs.

General admission tickets are $20, kamaaina are $10 and kids (keiki )12 years and under are free. Advance tickets are available online at http://ekk2024.eventbrite.com and will also be available at the door. The performance is set at the Kauai Beach resort, from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
