Event Description
Join our community for a morning helping out at Lydgate Beach Park to clear up the mass of driftwood brought down by the Wailua River flood on April 12th. The organizers and contributors are providing snacks and lunch (Crispy Chicken Asian Salad with Vegan option and Gluten Free option). Work gloves are also provided, thanks to the Flip Flop Shop. Bring your own sunscreen, water bottle, hat, and wear sports shoes or water shoes. Check in is at 7:30 in the main pavilion across from the beach. Lunch will be served at 11:30.
To enliven this cleanup event, lots of valuable prizes will be given away, which were originally donated for the Earth Day event, canceled due to the flood. Register to enter the prize drawing when you check in.
