A 50th anniversary tribute to “The Rocky Horror Picture show” is being produced by the Kauai  Community Players, live, at the Kauai Community College Performing Arts Center on October 24 at 7 p.m. and Midnight, plus October 25th at 7 p.m.

ʻThe original “Rocky Horror Show” along with its stage production,  appeared in 1975.

According to Reporter Fujimoto, Jacyn Fain of  the Hawaii Community Players said director Jennifer Takenaka is “beyond thrilled to once again dive heels-first into the glitter, chaos and absolute fabulousness of ‘The Rocky Horror Show.'” “Known for her love of theater that’s big, bold and full of heart, Jennifer believes this show is the ultimate celebration of true self-expression, acceptance and unapologetic weirdness,” Fain said. “She feels endlessly lucky to have worked with an out-of-this-world cast (of 15) and creative team who are truly the definition of collaboration and talent.”
