Kapa‘a, Kauai, HI, July, 26th — The Hop On Hop Off shuttle is now actively transporting visitors year-round between Nawiliwili Harbor and Kapa“a, allowing shoppers to visit local area businesses when certain cruise ships are in harbor. The Kauai Business Association is working with the shuttle staff to arrange for more stops in the Old Kapa‘a Town area.
The shuttle is operated by Clark’s Hawaii Tours serving a 20-mile round-trip route to the East Side. It features a narrated tour in an air-conditioned vehicle with stops at landmarks; such as Kaua‘i Museum, beaches like Lydgate Beach Park (with protected ocean swimming), shopping at Kukui Grove in Lihue and the Coconut Marketplace in Kapa‘a. Plus it serves Smith’s Fern Grotto on their River Boat Tours along with the Smith’s Tropical Garden walking tour. The Hop On Hop Off shuttle also brings shoppers into Old Kapa“a Town featuring a number of interesting restaurants, shops and boutiques. It takes about an hour if riders choose not not to get off.
