Open Status for Royal Coconut Coast Accommodations

Kapaa, Kauai, HI, September 19, 2026. Almost all of the resorts on the Royal Coconut Coast are open now, following Hurricane Lowell with one exceptions. That information will be posted when it is available. In general, most weathered the storm well plus many of the surrounding shops, stores restaurants and activities are also open throughout this region, including the town of Kapaa. Aston Islander On the Beach is open and fully operational.

Castle’s Kaha Lani is open and fully operational.

Fern Grotto Inn is open and fully operational.

Hilton Garden Inn at Wailua Bay is open and fully operational with all amenities. Luau started 9/18/2026.

ISO Hotel, operational date to be determined.

Kauai Coast Resort at the Beachboy open status and operation is still being determined.

Kauai Shores Hotel is open and fully operational.

Marriott Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort is scheduled to open September 25th.

Outrigger Waipouli Beach Resort is open and fully operational.

Plantation Hale is open and fully operational.

Pono Kai Resort is open and fully operational including pool and amenities. Still working on cable boxes and land-lines.

Premier Kauai Vacations is operating starting September 20th, with reservations at a variety of properties in the region.
