The 31st Annual Ki-ho’alu Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festival “Kauai Style” will feature in a four hour concert played by some of Hawaii’s foremost artists in the Slack Key Guitar and Hawaiian music genre on Sunday, October 8, 2023 from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall in Lihue, HI.
Slack Key Guitar, (ki-ho‘alu) is an indigenous guitar art form that originated in 1882 on the Island of Hawaii and is celebrating its 191 year anniversary. Performers at this year’s festival include: Paul Togioka, Cindy Combs, Pancho Graham, Michael Keale, Stephen Inglis, Dwight Kanae, Darrell Aquino, Bobby Moderow, Anthony Pfluke, and others with Billy V as Emcee. It will be a fun day of good music and good vibes. Don’t miss one of Kauai’s favorite events. Open to all ages. Supported by the Hawaii Tourism Authority.
