Kauai Pride Parade — June 5th

Event Description

Don’t miss the Kauai Pride Parade, a drive-through event on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. between Vidinha Stadium, and the County Historic Building on Rice Street. This colorful  and entertaining event, will feature stationary floats along Rice Street with over 40 groups and organizations celebrating LGBGTQ pride.  Attendees will drive along the closed-off street, partying in their cars. The eastbound lane will close at 8 a.m. for parade set up.

Line up your car at Vidinha stadium for the official start.  Participants are encouraged to decorate their cars too. The first 500 cars receive a grab bag with fun, flags and resources. There will be live music and an art display at the end of the route. Out of respect for everybody’s safety, well-being and protection, walking the route is not allowed. Cars can circle back to Vidinha Stadium and re-start the parade several times.
