Kingʻs Parade & Ho‘olaulea – June 13th

Event Description

Join the community in celebrating Hawaiian culture at the 2026 Kauaʻi King’s Parade & Hoʻolauleʻa (celebration) in Līhuʻe. The parade begins at 9:00 a.m. on Rice Street, starting at Vidinha Stadium and ending at the Historic County Building Lawn. Following the parade, the Hoʻolauleʻa begins and continues until 2:00 PM, featuring food vendors, crafts, cultural demonstrations, and entertainment for the whole ʻohana (family).

This parade features colorful and magnificent Pa‘u Riders. The horses are decorated with spectacular leis and the pa‘u riders are draped in extraordinary overflowing dresses.

This is a highly colorful parade,  honoring Hawaiiʻs King Kamehameha who was the first monarch of the Hawaiian Kingdom.

Itʻs an event not to be missed.
