Pihhanakaikena.org is organizing a work day at the sacred Kukui Heiau located near the Wailua River, on December 13th from 8:30 to 2 p.m., Bring garden gloves, hat, sunscreen, garden tools and wear shoes. Located at 419 Papaloa Road, the Kukui Heiau, is also known as ʻAʻa Kukui, a historic archeological site that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is the site of a heiau—a Hawaiian temple—on state land that was donated by neighboring condo developers.For more information, go to contact@pihanakaikena.org..
