DLNR Division of Forestry and Wildlife is partnering with Island Conservation to host an art show focused on the natural beauty, native species, and the powerful mana (spiritual power) of Lehua Island. This is a show with the intention of sharing an Artistʻs Perspective on Lehua Island, educating the public about Lehua, and raising funds to support the ongoing restoration work on this beautiful island. The exhibition is currently on-going. The artists provide and extraordinary interpretive view of Lehua, a volcanic crater atoll just north of Niihau — aka The Forbidden Island, and part of Kauai County.
Enjoy beautiful artworks, through September 17th, representing this amazing jewel and important environmental refuge of marine life and indigenous plant-life.
