Event Description
All are welcome as we celebrate the launch of the week-long Kauaʻi Mokihana Festival with a special church service at the Kapa‘a First Hawaiian Church, a United Church of Christ, starting at 1o a.m. on September 22nd The service includes music, song and prayers in both English and Hawaiian. This historic church was founded by Hawaii’s Queen Deborah Kapule in 1879.
Lunch will be provided after the service.
Kaua‘i’s Mokihana Festival is a celebration of Hawaiian culture including educational lectures, music and hula competition.
