From classical to jazz, embark on a journey through genres, as our virtuosic program caters to every taste. We’ll open the concert with a Klezmer-inspired overture by Prokofiev, setting the stage for an enchanting evening. Transitioning seamlessly, we’ll delve into Mendelssohn’s Concert Pieces Op. 113/114, a mesmerizing ‘concerto’ for two clarinets. Concluding the first half, we’ll ignite the stage with Piazzolla’s fiery Fuga y Misterio.

The second half opens with the iconic Blackbird by The Beatles, serving as a delightful appetizer to the main course: Gershwin’s timeless masterpiece, Rhapsody in Blue. Join us for an unforgettable musical experience!

This year marks the 100th anniversary of Rhapsody in Blue.

Located at Kauai Community College Performing Arts Center, doors open at 4 p.m. and the concert begins at 5.
