Waimea Town Celebration — February 19th through 26th

Event Description

Kauai’s longest running town celebration the 45th Annual Waimea Town Celebration provides eight days of entertainment and fun events in and around the west side town of Waimea. The daily schedule includes films, cultural presentations, Hawaiian music and hula, a food and wine event; along with exciting competitions like long distance canoe racing, rodeo, fun run (2K, 5K and 10K), ukulele contest, hat lei contest, ice cream eating and slow pitch softball. Every day provides an opportunity to mix with our community and enjoy all the action.

The Celebration is hosted by Historic Waimea Theater and Cultural Arts Center (HWTCAC),  a non-profit organization that provides benefits to local charities through a quality celebration of heritage, diversity and inclusion of residents and visitors.

Access to events will require registering for a WTC Health Pass. There is no charge.
