Event Description
The Hawai‘i Tourism Authority and the Kaua‘i Japanese Cultural Society present the 41st Kaua‘i Matsuri Festival 2026 on Saturday, October 10th at the Kaua‘i War Memorial Convention Hall from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. FREE admission and all are welcome!
There will be performances by traditional Japanese folk singers; dancers & musicians; Taiko drummers; a Judo demonstration; Kauai Bonsai; Ikebana; Tea Ceremony; Japanese Calligraphy; Mini Bon Dance; Mochi pounding; Kanzashi making; Kimono Kitsuke; Shamisen lessons; Origami; various Japanese games. Represented by the Consul General of Japan; Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii, Iwaki City; Mimasaka City; various food & craft vendors plus Japanese reggae music.
