Pono Kai Resort, a 241-unit oceanfront condominium resort, has just completed a $115,000 lobby upgrade creating a strong sense of Hawaii and Kauai with its new decor. The extensive renovation to Pono Kai’s check-in area took four weeks to complete and was largely guided by Signature Homes, bringing in new images, large wood carvings and adherence to Kauai’s tropical feel. Pono Kai derived its name from its historic location in the Kapaa Pono Ahupuaa (district). Pono means right, worthy, meaningful. Kai means sea-side. The extensive grounds front Kauai’s famed Ke Ala Hele Makalae bike path and a stunning stretch of coastline.
